Custom Software & Enterprise System Development in Saudi Arabia

Matrix IT is a Riyadh software house operating since 2007 — and we run our own SaaS platforms serving hundreds of organizations daily. Your custom system gets the same engineering behind our products — and you own it entirely.

What We Build

The Systems Saudi Organizations Ask Us For

From an operations backbone to a public platform serving thousands of users — across government, healthcare, retail, education, and logistics.

Custom ERP & Operations Systems

Systems designed around how your organization actually works — procurement, inventory, HR, work orders — instead of bending your team around an off-the-shelf product that never quite fits.

Multi-Tenant SaaS Platforms

If your idea is a product sold by subscription, we architect it as proper multi-tenant SaaS from day one — we launched, and still operate, four commercial SaaS platforms of our own.

Portals & e-Services

Employee, customer, and beneficiary portals with application flows, approvals, and notifications — turning days of back-and-forth into minutes online.

Enterprise Mobile Apps

iOS and Android apps wired into your back-office systems for field teams, sales, and customers, built for weak connectivity. For standalone apps, see our mobile app development service.

Dashboards & Reporting

Management dashboards that pull scattered data into one screen: live KPIs and exportable reports reaching decision-makers automatically — no more hand-built monthly spreadsheets.

Government & Banking API Integrations

Connections between your systems and Saudi government platforms, bank gateways, and e-invoicing — backed by hands-on experience shipping ZATCA-compliant billing.

The Difference

We Build Our Own Products Before We Build Your System

Most development houses hand over a project and move on. We operate our own software in production year after year — and that changes how your system is engineered.

A Team That Runs Real Platforms Daily

We develop and operate four products of our own: Pixa for fleet management, RateHex for customer satisfaction, WOSL for school dismissal, and AuditSA for accounting automation — stress-tested daily by hundreds of organizations. The same engineers write your code.

Product-Grade Engineering, Not Project-Grade

Lessons from running commercial SaaS flow straight into your build: architecture that survives growth, ISO 27001-aligned security practices, and Arabic-first UX designed for the region, not translated as an afterthought.

  • Multi-tenant architecture scaling from dozens of users to thousands
  • Fine-grained RBAC controlling who sees and does what
  • Audit logs recording every sensitive operation
  • Arabic-first interfaces with full RTL support, Hijri and Gregorian dates
Ownership & Handover

The Code Is Yours — Documented and Handed Over Properly

A custom system is a long-term investment — we deliver it so you are never hostage to any vendor, including us.

Full Source Code Ownership

Your contract transfers full ownership of source code, databases, and usage rights, delivered as a clean Git repository with complete history. No hidden license fees, no forced dependency on us after handover.

Documentation & Structured Handover

Technical documentation of the architecture and APIs, administrator guides, and hands-on training for your team. Any competent developer should be able to take over the system — our real test of delivery quality.

Timeline & Cost

How Long Does Custom System Development Take?

The honest answer: it depends on scope. A well-defined MVP can go live in weeks; a full enterprise system with integrations runs for months. So we deliver in working phases — something usable at each stage, not one big reveal at the end.

  • Number of functional modules and complexity of workflows and approvals
  • External integrations: government platforms, banks, existing systems
  • Security and hosting requirements, and expected user volume
  • Migrating and cleaning data from legacy systems

The same factors drive cost, discussed transparently before any commitment — no fictional "starting from" prices. To sharpen your requirements, read our guides on ERP vs CRM: which does your business need? and SaaS or On-Premise?

How We Work

Four Phases from Idea to a Running System

A written plan with clear deliverables per phase, so you always know where your project stands.

1

Analysis & Requirements

We sit with your team to understand how work actually happens — not how it is supposed to — and document requirements in a scope you approve.

2

Architecture & UI Design

We design the architecture, data model, and interactive screen prototypes, so you review and adjust the system before any code is written.

3

Incremental Development

We build in short increments you review and try yourself, so feedback surfaces early — while changes are still cheap.

4

Launch & Ongoing Support

We deploy to production, migrate data, train users, and stay with you under an ongoing support agreement.

FAQ

What Clients Ask Before Commissioning a System

Who owns the system and its source code?
You do, entirely. The contract transfers ownership of source code, database, and documentation at handover, and you receive the full repository with its history — free to continue development in-house or with any other vendor.
Do you support the system after delivery?
Yes. Annual support agreements cover monitoring, security updates, bug fixes, and new features under clear SLAs. We run our own SaaS platforms around the clock — long-term operational support is our daily work, not an afterthought.
We already run other systems — can you build on top of them and integrate?
Yes, and often. We integrate with what you already own — ERP, accounting software, government platforms, bank gateways — through documented APIs. Where needed, a middleware layer connects legacy systems to the new one instead of replacing everything at once.
Where is the system hosted?
By default, on servers inside Saudi Arabia — faster local performance and data residency compliance for government and healthcare organizations. We can also deploy to your own cloud or on-premise infrastructure, always with backups, monitoring, and ISO 27001-aligned security.
How do we start?
Book a free consultation and you meet an engineer, not a salesperson. We discuss your idea and current systems, then return with an initial view of scope, phases, and timeline — no obligation, and a clearer picture even if you build elsewhere.
